Jousting Dustoff.

Having just joined the Central Coast Tabletop Game Design, (A subgroup of Central Coast Board Games) It's time to dust-off those jousting sticks. I think an excellent club level participation game would be the medieval Jousting tournament. My version can't be commercialised because 2 of the excellent tables and charts were dreamed up by Mr. G Gygax as part of his 3rd edition Chainmail rules. For me the concept Gygax outlined was always somewhat lacking in what a full jousting experience should be. In addition fun diminished as his version could be manipulated by players familiar with the charts.

So, I would like to bring this into the 21st century by adding my own fatigue mechanism and randomising the aiming points and defensive postures, I believe this gives a realistic feel to the game for those that want to analyse the physics of the game but at the same time giving the random player of any age a fun experience with just a few die rolls and 5 minutes of their time.

I will pitch it in the New Year and see if it raises any interest.

The Raw Concept.

Clearly In Need Of Some Graphic Design.
